What must I do to be saved?
The gospel is God’s power for salvation. The New Testament shows how people heard it, believed it, and obeyed it. Read these passages for yourself.
Hear the gospel
Hear the good news of Jesus Christ through the Word of God.
Believe in Christ
Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
Repent of sin
Turn away from sin and turn toward God.
Confess Christ
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
Be baptized into Christ
Be immersed in water into Christ for the forgiveness of sins and to walk in newness of life.
Continue faithfully
Devote yourself to Christ and continue steadfastly in His teaching.
